DIE GROSSE ENTWUNDERUNG DES WILBUR WHITTAKER

By Dan Giovannoni / Wilbur used to wonder about the most amazing things: jet packs, keytars and interstellar superhighways. Today, in his early forties, he is only interested in brown ties and painting his garden fence. His precious childhood wonders, however, live a shadowy existence in a dusty, almost forgotten box under his bed. Until one night, with much fanfare, officials from an ominous “office” appear in his bedroom and unceremoniously take the box away. When Princess Fantastic shows up, a child who claims to have been watching over Wilbur’s wonders for 6,000 years, it is too late: the officials are already on the way to the recycling plant with the box. But without his childhood memories, not only does Wilbur himself seem to be slowly disintegrating, the order of the entire universe depends on the preservation of the box. And so Wilbur Whittaker and Princess Fantastic embark on an intergalactic adventure of epic proportions to save themselves and the entire world from the Great Unwonder.
